November 1st

Happy November! Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween for those who celebrate. I'm not ready for it be over. ):

I drew this Nightmare Before Christmas themed drawing too! :D

A few years ago I made a Halloween Town Sora mask from Kingdom Hearts, and I finally got around to making a resin cast out of it so now I can sell them! ^_^
They are listed on my etsy for anyone interested: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NaviForest

Here is some of the photos I took for it:

Kayaking Adventure

Oh no! Its been way to long since my last update, I have so much catching up to do!
Just a little update on my life, I graduated university a few months ago and am currently employees in a popular theme park, which is fun! But still searching for a job in the animation/graphic design/video game/etc. field.

Anyways!!!..

This summer I had the opportunity to go kayaking with some of my friends, which I love because I adore doing things naturey. Living in Florida may have its ups and downs, but it sure does have some gorgeous natural areas.

I also had recently bought a new swimsuit and kit ear hat to match. The swim suit is adorable and features cute strawberries, and has a unique corset type lace in the back, which I found on aliexpress.com. I found the hat on ebay; I just couldn't resist the matching hat with little ears.

During this season we had been getting a lot of rain, and when that happens the leaves fall into the clear water and turn it red like tea! You can see this effect in the water below me.

You are the tree's knees

A few months back my friend and I adventured one again into the forest and I wore one of my favorite outfits, coupled with my violin. (In truth, I hardly know how to play, I only learned a few simple songs). I made the dress, the shoes were an ebay find, bracelet: etsy, and I found the vest thing at Goodwill.

The forest is really pretty and fun to explore. There are cypress trees with huge cypress knees and streams running through it. My friend and I came across one of the streams and it looked so pretty that I just had to take my shoes off and take a little stroll in the cool, refreshing water.
Mah face while walking through the stream.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves...

...Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Not too long ago I aquired an old Alice in Wonderland book from the 1880s. I can't find an exact date of publication but it was signed by a few people in the front cover as if it had been passed down to others, but the earliest was someone who dated it in 1898. The stained and well loved/read pages as well as the signatures give it so much personality. I love it!

So I dressed in some mori garb and took my book out with me for some photos. ^_^

Emilie Autumn - Orlando - 2013

A couple weeks back I went to a long awaited Emilie Autumn concert in Orlando, FL. Emilie Autumn is one of my favorite artists, with her beautiful lyrics, rhythms, and violin shredding, she is pretty amazing. Not to mention her concerts are so much more than just a show, it is a theatrical act! This was my 3rd Emilie Autumn concert I went to and it was really fun!

My legs and boots waiting outside the venue.
Below with my friends and a derp face I made on the way there, but I love my butterfly hair clippy!
I'm not going to show too much of my outfit I wore to the show because I plan on doing an actual photoshoot soon in it!

I was so freaking happy because I finally got to meet Captain Maggots, one of the girls who is part of Emilie's stage preformance, and I love her. She was incredibly sweat and kind. I look kind of derp in our photo together, but I was bursting at the seems with happiness!

Unfortunately my camera kind of sucked at taking photos during the show so I didn't really get that many. But here is a couple of the decent ones.. ):

Capricornus

I was looking through old photo shoots and rediscovered one of my favorite ones I've done. I made both the ram/goat horns as well as the dress. I did this about a year ago and still really like how the photos turned out so I thought I'd share! It is actually the photoshoot I am getting the image for my banner from. ^_^
I just can't help it. I love finding pretty little places, frolicking in fields and make friends with trees. The one below I've posted around before, but this is the first time I am posting the uncropped version anywhere. I actually kind of like it this way.

There were so many I really liked from this shoot that it was hard to decide which to post!
But I'll leave you here with a photo of my eye and hair from that day. Gosh, my hair has really grown out since then and now the ends are the only ones still light. It is much healthier now, but I do miss it like this!

Deary me

Not to long ago I enlisted the help of my friend Josh to help me with a photoshoot I had in mind and be my photographer. Josh has a successful youtube channel where he does magic: http://www.youtube.com/JustJoshinMagic but he is also a talented artist and photographer. So I made myself a set of deer antlers, wore one of my favorite dresses, and we ventured off into the forest to take some photos. It was super fun!
Here are  some of the results:
